What Does MUGA Stand for?

What is a MUGA?
There is a wide range of MUGA surfaces available but Fox Sports Surfacing specialise in the supply and installation of types 3 and 4.
Type 3 is specifically for Netball only, as it possesses a high anti-slip coating which prevents players from slipping around.
Type 4 is for all types of sports; football, basketball, tennis and netball to name a few. It Is designed to give maximum protection to players' joints.
This surface is also used for children's playground areas, as they require minimum maintenance and are long-lasting.

The projects can be carried out with multiple colours and designs, making every project completely bespoke.
Fox Sports Surfacing also offer sport specific painting, where that is markings for football, tennis or hockey, the paintings increase performance and allow game like scenarios to be played out by the athletes.

How to Maintain a MUGA
As well as full construction, Fox Sports Surfacing also offer to clean and maintain surfacing projects that we carry out.
